Midweek Services: this week, morning prayer will be said on Tuesday at St Catharine’s and Wednesday at St Mary’s at 9:45 am. We will also have a joint Ash Wednesday service at St Mary’s at 11 am on Wednesday.
Parkview Parish Church, Grangemouth invites us to a Hospitality Afternoon at 1:30 pm on 18 February with entertainment from Strathcarron Hospice Choir.
Next Vestry Meetings: St Mary’s vestry next meets on Tuesday 17 February at 12:30 pm. St Catharine’s vestry meets after the service on Sunday, 1 March. There will also be a joint vestry meeting at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, 17 March in St Mary’s.
St Mary’s Monday Group next meets on 16 February for storytelling and music on Celtic saints from Rev Jim Campbell.
We will welcome Huroosh back to St Mary’s at 7 pm on Friday 20 February. Tickets from Sheena Wilson at £8 each or two for £15.
Prayer and Potatoes resumes at St Mary’s in February and will be on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Dates until the summer break: 24 February, 24 March, 28 April, 26 May, 24 June.
Amy Jo’s working pattern for St Catharine’s and St Mary’s is 2.5 days spread over Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These are the best days to contact her. Mondays and Saturdays are days off. On Thursdays and Fridays, she works for the Scottish Parliament so is not available and is unlikely to respond to any messages or emails except for emergencies.
