Morning prayer will be said every Tuesday at St Catharine’s and every Wednesday at St Mary’s at 9:45 am.
There will be no midweek Eucharist at St Mary’s this month. The next one will be on Wednesday, 18 November at 10:30 am as usual.
St Mary’s Afternoon Tea Service is on 11th October. Next month’s will be on 8 November.
Vestry Meetings: St Catharine’s Vestry next meets on Sunday, 18 October after the service. St Mary’s Vestry will meet on Tuesday 27 October, 12:30 pm at Beryl’s house.
St Mary’s Monday Group: The next meeting of the programme will be on 19 October, 1:30 pm, when Graham Gow will tell us about his climb to Base Camp Everest. This is our hospitality afternoon for other churches, so we need baking and assistance on the day. Please speak to Pauline if you are able to help.
Card Making Afternoon: Cathy is running a workshop teaching us how to make cards in the church hall on Wednesday, 28 October. All materials will be provided but please bring your own scissors. Entry by donation for church funds (suggested donation: £5). All welcome.

Amy Jo’s working pattern for St Catharine’s and St Mary’s is 2.5 days spread over Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These are the best days to contact her. She is now working in the office at St Mary’s on a Wednesday through the day and is available for pastoral conversations by arrangement at the church. Pastoral visits can be arranged for Sundays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Monday is a day off and, on Thursdays and Fridays, she works for the Scottish Parliament so is not available. On those days, she is unlikely to respond to any messages or emails except for emergencies.
As our voluntary administrator for both churches, Jenn is able to pick up enquiries on days that Amy Jo is unavailable.
