Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity at 6pm, 25 January, at Christ the King RC Church, Grangemouth.

Midweek Services: morning prayer on Tuesday at St Catharine’s and on Wednesday at St Mary’s both at 9:45 am.

St Mary’s Monday Group meets on 19 January at 1:30 pm. Murray Cook will speak on rediscovering Wallace’s last camp at Stirling bridge.

Next Vestry Meetings: St Catharine’s vestry meets after the service this Sunday. St Mary’s vestry next meets on Tuesday 10 February at 12:30 pm at Lyndsay’s house.

AGMs: St Mary’s AGM will take place on Sunday, 25 January. St Catharine’s will have a reserved sacrament service led by David James from South Queensferry. St Catharine’s AGM will be on Sunday, 1 February. The service that Sunday will be a joint service for Candlemas at St Catharine’s at 10:30 am.

St Mary’s Scottish Afternoon will be on Saturday 24th January 2 pm to 4 pm. Entry is by donation but, if you are coming, please let us know so that we can cater for the right numbers.

St Mary’s Afternoon Tea Services will be on the second Sunday of the month at 2:15 pm. Dates until the summer break: 8 February, 8 March,12 April, 10 May and 14th June.

Prayer and Potatoes resumes at St Mary’s in February and will be on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Dates until the summer break: 24 February, 24 March, 28 April, 26 May, 24 June.

We will welcome Huroosh back to St Mary’s at 7 pm on Friday 20 February. Tickets from Sheena Wilson at £8 each or two for £15.

Amy Jo’s working pattern for St Catharine’s and St Mary’s is 2.5 days spread over Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These are the best days to contact her. On Thursdays and Fridays, she works for the Scottish Parliament so is not available and is unlikely to respond to any messages or emails except for emergencies.
