NOTICES from 19 July 2026
Morning prayer will be said every Tuesday at St Catharine’s and every Wednesday at St Mary’s at 9:45 am.
Evening prayer will be said at St Mary’s at 5 pm every Wednesday until 12 August inclusive.
Midweek Eucharists: St Catharine’s will no longer hold midweek Eucharists as there is no one attending. St Mary’s next midweek Eucharist will be Wednesday 15th July at 10:30 am.
Vestry Meetings: St Mary’s vestry meets on 21st July at 12.30pm in the church hall (note the change of venue). We will be joined by +Dagmar for this meeting.
Amy Jo will be on leave next weekend until Tuesday 27 July inclusive. On Sunday 26 July,. +Dagmar will preside at both services.
Grangemouth Churches Together Messy Outdoors has been cancelled.
Claire has brought in pipecleaners for people to use to hang walking sticks to their chairs in the hall at St Mary’s.
How to use the pipecleaners!
Amy Jo’s working pattern for St Catharine’s and St Mary’s is 2.5 days spread over Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These are the best days to contact her. She is now working in the office at St Mary’s on a Wednesday through the day and is available for pastoral conversations by arrangement at the church. Mondays and Saturdays are days off and, on Thursdays and Fridays, she works for the Scottish Parliament so is not available. On those days, she should not be contacted about church business except in emergencies.
