St Mary’s and St Catharine’s took part in the Big Day at St Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh on Saturday 28th April.

Diocesan Banner – this new banner has a symbol representing each church in the diocese. St Catharine’s symbol was the angel saying Jubilate Deo in one of our stained glass windows. St Mary’s was the Madonna and child.
St Mary’s showcased the Knitted Poppy Waterfall created for Remembrance and St Catharine’s the work of St Cath’s Kitchen where basic cookery skills are taught. St Catharine’s pancake making skills were put to the test (the Bishop ate one and is still alive).
